Purified Water
A municipal supply, that is processed through activated carbon filters to remove sediment and chlorine. Next, it passes through the deionizer to remove the minerals in the water. This produces water near total pureness and equivalent to distilled water in quality. Then the purified water is passed through activated carbon to polish the water for taste. Just before bottling the water, it is ozonated* to protect it from any bacterial contamination in the filling process. The water is tested daily in the plant and weekly at an independent lab. (There are 3 ways to purify water, Reverse Osmosis, Distillation, & Deionization), our method is deionization.

Drinking Water

Prior to bottling, the water is ozonated to protect it from any bacterial contamination in the filling process. The water is tested daily in the plant and weekly at an independent lab.

Spring Water
Flows from an artesian spring located in central Michigan. Shay Beverage owns the spring, where it has been bottled for over 65 years. The spring water contains a variety of minerals. The water is transported by stainless steel tanker, to our bottling plant, were it is processed through a sand filter and ozonated just prior to bottling, to protect it from any bacterial contamination in the filling process. The water is tested daily in the plant and weekly at an independent lab.
